The Princess and the Pea
Never mind the agony of de feet...nothing is more irritating than having something that shouldn't be there lodged up the inside of your gums. I returned yesterday to the dentist to determine why my gums had totally swollen up after root canal #5. A thorough search by the dental assistant determined than pebble-sized bits of the bonding concrete used in the crown had migrated northward. Extricated, relief followed. I'm looking forward to eating something really hard and crunchy tonight!On second thought...maybe I shouldn't tempt fate so soon? Patience has never been a strong point.
